BABSEA International Legal Studies Internship Newsletter May-August 2009 |

Since 2004, BABSEA has been engaged in operating Legal Studies Internship Programs which provide persons from around the globe with a real world learning experience, while exposing them the diverse range of legal and human rights issues in Southeast Asia . Many of these persons are law and legal studies related students but the program is not limited to students studying in this field, amd also includes non-law students, as well as persons who already have graduated and many who are professionally working. Through this experience our interns
achieve a greater understanding of the dynamic relationship between academic
knowledge and its practical application to the legal and human rights issues
that arise in the community.
